ASAIKO is an intimate short film about a young couple facing a quiet but profound shift in their relationship. The film is told through fragmented moments and close physical observation, allowing emotional states to emerge through image rather than dialogue. The cinematography by Henri Graute follows a restrained, observant approach, focusing on proximity, texture, and atmosphere. Shot on the ARRI Alexa 35 with Cooke S4 and Sigma High Speed Zoom lenses.
Directed by Laura Spieker and produced by NEWAVE Films in collaboration with the TH OWL.
