ECHOES tells the story of Xam (Heritèr Kasau), who experiences a strange and surreal morning in his apartment. As reality and perception begin to shift, he encounters the mysterious figure Max (Maria Riaboshapka), who challenges him to question his own experience. These encounters lead Xam on an introspective journey shaped by themes of existence, identity, and self-perception. Directed by Henri Graute. Cinematography by Pia Echterhoff, shot on the RED Komodo with Zeiss CP.2 lenses. The film was produced by NEWAVE Films in collaboration with TH OWL.
The film screened at the 35th Bilderbeben Short Film Festival, where it received a Jury Award.
